Its genetics provide a relaxing and calming effect on the user

Fatso Weed Strain is a popular indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that has gained recognition among marijuana enthusiasts for its unique characteristics and effects.

The genetics of Fatso Weed Strain are primarily derived from two parent strains, with the exact lineage often attributed to being an offspring of the renowned OG Kush and another unknown strain. This specific genetic blend is believed to contribute to its distinctive features.

One of the primary reasons users seek out Fatso Weed Strain is for its relaxing and calming effects on both the body and mind. The indica dominance in this strain results in a deep physical relaxation, making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking relief from stress, anxiety, and other related conditions.

The high induced by Fatso Weed Strain can be described as heavy, with many users reporting feelings of sedation that may last several hours after consumption. This is often attributed to the significant presence of myrcene, a terpene commonly found in indica-dominant strains.

Smokers and patients who have used Fatso Weed Strain report experiencing relief from chronic pain, insomnia, and depression among other issues. The sedating effect can be particularly beneficial for those struggling with sleep disorders or finding it challenging to fall asleep at night.

The effects of Fatso Weed Strain are said to kick in within 15-30 minutes after consumption, depending on the individual’s tolerance level and method of consumption (smoking, vaping, edibles, etc.). As a medicinal cannabis strain, Fatso Weed Strain is considered beneficial for individuals who prefer a more sedating experience rather than an energizing or stimulating high. It’s essential to approach this strain with caution, especially for those new to medical marijuana, as its potency may be overwhelming for inexperienced users.

Growing Fatso Weed Strain

Cultivation Requirements

Cultivating the Fatso weed strain can be a rewarding experience for growers, but it requires attention to detail and specific growing requirements.

Cultivation Requirements

  • Lighting: The Fatso weed strain thrives in indoor environments with a moderate to bright light intensity. Aim for a photoperiod of at least 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness.
  • Temperature: Maintain a consistent temperature between 20-24°C (68-75°F) during the vegetative stage, and slightly warmer temperatures during flowering.
  • Humidity: Keep relative humidity levels between 40-60% to prevent moisture buildup and promote healthy growth.
  • Nutrients: Provide a balanced diet of NPK (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) nutrients, with a focus on phosphorus-rich fertilizers during the flowering stage.
  • Aeration: Ensure proper air circulation around plants to prevent mold and fungal infections.
  • Pruning: Regular pruning will promote bushy growth, increase yields, and enhance bud development.
  • Pest control: Monitor for pests regularly, using organic or chemical pest control methods as necessary to prevent infestations.

Tips for Success

  • Sow seeds in well-draining soil: Ensure the growing medium is not too dense or waterlogged.
  • Provide support: Use stakes, trellises, or cages to provide structural support during flowering.
  • Maintain records: Keep detailed notes on temperature, humidity, light intensity, and nutrient levels to refine your growing techniques.
  • Patient growth is key: Allow the plants sufficient time to mature before harvesting to ensure optimal potency and flavor.

Harvesting the Fatso Weed Strain

After 8-10 weeks of flowering, the buds should be fully developed. Harvest by cutting off the colas with a sharp tool, or by using scissors to trim around individual buds.

Allow the harvested buds to dry for at least 7-14 days before curing in airtight containers to preserve the full flavor and aroma of the Fatso weed strain.
